Manager of Washington DC Initiatives (Washington, DC)

The Manager of Washington, DC Initiatives is responsible for the successful planning, development, and implementation of multiple strategic initiatives in support of the school's visibility and engagement in Washington, DC. Reporting to the Director of External Relations, and based in Washington, DC, this position serves as the on-site manager for GSPIA's physical space and its academic programs and offerings there. Research Administrator

GSPIA Dean’s Office is seeking an experienced Research Administrator to manage the pre-award process for sponsored project submissions in GSPIA as well as all post-award accounting and compliance. This position reports to the Director of Finance and works closely with other Dean’s office finance staff. Read more and apply here.


GSPIA is a dynamic, multidisciplinary school focused on training future practitioners for careers in the public, private and non-profit sectors. GSPIA is home to several research centers that serve as points of outreach and intersection for faculty within our school, at Pitt, and externally. These include the Johnson Institute for Responsible Leadership, the Center for Governance and Markets, the Center for Analytical Approaches to Social Innovation, and more. Additionally, GSPIA faculty are connected broadly with colleagues and schools at the University of Pittsburgh, including the University Center for Social and Urban Research, PittCyber, the University Center for International Studies, and more. In addition, GSPIA also has a presence at the Pitt Washington Center in Washington, D.C.
